using_slicehost_nameservers_for_dns_lookups - the info was out of date 
and only because @scottymoon was so appreciative for the previous updates... www.kcdiningspecials.com moved to slicehost - @BrentCsutoras and 2 solid companies for me have been ThePlanet for dedicated and Slicehost for VPS. Been with both for years.

I've been looking at both Gandi.net and GoDaddy, but neither are really doing anything for me.
I'm looking for a really simple, reliable registrar, preferably that doesn't do hosting; I like to be able to move my hosting around, and don't want them trying to sell me theirs whenever I login to do administration.
Is there anyone that takes a Slicehost approach to domains?
